Pieces for a single room often come from several vendors on different dates, and many of them arrive before the house is ready for them. Without a place to receive and hold them, they end up in a client’s garage, a storage unit or your own studio.

Have your vendors ship to our Weatherford or Granbury facility instead. Our movers check each piece in, inspect it and hold it until you are ready to install. Because we are a moving company first, the same movers who receive your order load it, deliver it and help place it in the room, so the last step never goes to a subcontractor.

What Happens When Your Shipment Arrives

We accept LTL freight, full truckload deliveries and standard parcel shipments during business hours, from a box of hardware to a pallet of case goods. Each shipment is logged against your account, so you know what has arrived and what is still in transit. Before anything goes into storage, our movers check it against your packing list or purchase order for quantity, condition and accuracy. Anything damaged or incorrect is photographed and reported the same day, so you have what you need to file a claim with the vendor before the return window closes.

Short and Long Term Storage Options

Once a piece clears inspection, it moves into secure storage. Some designers need a few weeks of space while walls are painted and floors go in. Others hold pieces for the length of a full renovation, or keep an ongoing account that covers several projects at once. There is no minimum commitment, and we scale to either without locking you into a term that does not fit the project.

Sorting by Project and Staging for Install Day

Inbound pieces are sorted by project, room or destination, which matters when you are running several client homes out of one warehouse. When your install date is set, we pull every piece for that project from storage and stage it together, so the pieces for a room can go out on the same delivery. Business freight can also be sorted by SKU and palletized for outbound shipping to more than one site, and many businesses pair receiving with our commercial moving service.

Protecting Upholstery, Case Goods and Fragile Decor

Furniture, lighting, art and other high-value pieces get the same care we bring to fragile items on a residential move. Items are wrapped, labeled and stored with the right orientation. Anything that needs special handling is flagged at check-in rather than discovered on install day. For vintage and heirloom pieces, our antiques moving service uses techniques built for fragile, irreplaceable items.
