Each piece is photographed, then wrapped in breathable pads with stretch wrap over the pads so nothing touches the finish. Shelves, mirrors and removable tops come off first. Marble and glass are crated, and everything is carried by its frame and strapped in the truck.
Yes. Framed art and mirrors travel on edge in picture boxes with corner protection, and large canvases and glass-covered pieces get a crate. Glass-front cabinets are crated with the shelves removed and the glass taped and padded. Plastic never goes against a painted surface.
Yes. We collect single pieces from dealers, auction houses, estate sales and private sellers and place them in the room you chose. For interior designers and businesses we can also receive the piece into our warehouse and hold it until the space is ready.
An appraisal is not required, but a recent one with photos gives you a record of value and condition before the move and helps decide which pieces deserve a crate. Bring the paperwork to the walk-through and we will note it beside the crew’s condition photos.
