Annetta is an incorporated municipality in Tarrant County and East Parker County, Texas. It is located just to the west of Aledo, between Annetta North and Annetta South. The town’s population is approximately 2,830, and its land area is 3.7 square miles.
Annetta is mostly a residential and agricultural community and is the home of the Split Rail Golf Course, Annetta United Methodist Church and the Annetta Cemetery. As a community, Annetta has existed since the late 19th century. However, it was not until 1979 that the area was incorporated as three separate entities, which are the three Annettas. A major reason for their incorporation was the looming threat of Fort Worth annexing the area.
The town is in the 76008 ZIP code and is in the Aledo Independent School District, an Exemplary District.
